My name is Yayi Zheng, and I have a keen interest in questions about Anthropology and Development. 

I have planned my fieldwork around the twin towns, Moyale-Kenya and Moyale-Ethiopia and will investigate how the recent state-led development activities are affecting the everyday life of people living in this borderland. I received my master's degree in Anthropology and Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and I have previously conducted fieldwork in Kenya.
